Aluminum Extrusion

Aluminum Extrusion

Aluminum extrusion is a demanding process where materials are heated to extreme temperatures (up to 1050 degrees Fahrenheit) and then quenched to achieve desired hardness, finish and other metallurgical properties. Belting for aluminum extrusion needs to handle the high temperatures, offer abrasion resistance and a reliable belt life to maximize uptime and production capabilities.

MIR provides reliable belting for every step of the extrusion process with Kevlar®, PBO, Nomex and Polyester sleeves, rollers, conveyor and timing belts.
